Vintage Fall Books To Share With Your Kids #reading #moms

Read any good books lately!

Do you remember some of these classics, I do, sharing them with your kids is such a joy. My kids love to hear that I read the same books when I was younger.
Take a look at the 16 listed and visit KC Edventures website for the complete story......

Which one is your favorite? your children's favorite? Here at our house "The Monster at the End of this Book" has always been a favorite of all 3 of my kids, and mommy too.

  1. The Monster at the End of the Book was a favorite in our family when I was little too. We also love all Richard Scarry and the Little Bear books. The Hundred Dresses is a wonderful story but pretty serious and sad too -- we used to discuss it in 3rd grade.

  2. My daughter's favorites were the Dorrie the Witch books. I was pleased to see our public library still has them available.

  3. Little fur family anytime! My daughter loves reading that book over and over again. I think we should not let those vintage books die off as they are really good to read. They have much more substance than the books written these days. I am teaching her to read for herself using this site I came across that has most of the material necessary to help a child learn to read and write. And of course she has much to show for it! She is way ahead of others her age at the public school she attends.
