The Mommies Network is a 501c(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping moms find support and friendship in their local community. We were founded April, 2002 and currently have 119 communities in 33 states, with over 30,000 active members nationwide.

Good morning everyone!

We're looking for some good people to volunteer in the Promotions Department for The Mommies Network. We are in the process of revamping the department to really get the word out about TMN in 2011. We have lots of openings and are looking for a few good people to help us spread the word about TMN. Please take a minute to look over our open positions and see if you can help.

Community Promotions Manager. The Community Promotions Manager serves as a mentor to a group of site Promotions Managers, answering questions in the TMN forums and assisting them with promotions initiatives. Community Promotions Managers report to the Senior Manager of Community Promotions.

Community Social Media Manager. The Community Social Media Manager manages the social media marketing for all sites without a Promotions Manager on staff. Responsibilities include posting regular updates to multiple site’s Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites, as well as managing each account, to ensure regular responses to questions, messages and requests. The Community Social Media Manager reports to the Senior Manager of Community Promotions.

Community Newsletter Manager. The Community Newsletter Manager produces and sends monthly newsletters for all sites without a Promotions Manager on staff. Responsibilities include production of newsletter from template, corresponding with each site’s chapter manager for site-specific content and sending the newsletter each month. The Community Newsletter Manager reports to the Senior Manager of Community Promotions.

National Blog Manager. The National Blog Manager will be responsible for the TMN Blog, ensuring that articles are prepared and submitted, managing guest bloggers and their submissions and ensuring that our Blog is posted to every weekday. The National Blog Manager reports to the Marketing Director.

National Social Media Manager. The National Social Media Manager will be responsible for TMN’s social media sites, including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. She will ensure that all announcements/status updates are posted in a timely manner and will ensure that our social media sites stayed updated and active. The National Social Media Manager reports to the Marketing Director.

National Newsletter Editor.
The National Newsletter Editor is responsible for the production of the quarterly National Newsletter. She will determine content and graphics needs and assign to appropriate team. She will be responsible for accumulating needed information and producing and sending final newsletter. Proficiency in graphic arts, desktop publishing and mailing list software required. Position reports to the Marketing Director.

Graphic Artists.
If you are a skilled graphic artist and willing to lend your talents, please join our Graphics Team. The Graphics Team is project-based, so volunteers can choose which projects they would like to assist with, depending on their free time and skill level. Graphics Team Members report to the Senior Editorial Manager.

Writers. Do you enjoy writing? Do you have a particular skill that you might be able to share with our members via a regular column? Consider joining our Content team to submit your writings and/or accept assignments as your time and know-how allow. Content Team Members report to the Senior Editorial Manager.
