The Mommies Network is a 501c(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping moms find support and friendship in their local community. We were founded April, 2005 and currently have 119 communities in 33 states, with over 25,000 active members nationwide.

Hi, I'm Amy!

I'm Amy Sloan and I've been a member of The Mommies Network since 2005. I started as a member of CharlotteMommies and when they spun off to LakeNormanMommies accepted the position of SA. I ran LKNM for 15 months before being promoted to Network Admin and then voted onto the Board of Directors. I am currently in charge of overseeing the Operations Board for The Mommies Network.

I am the mother of two boys - Hunter (6) and Carter (3) and a 20 yr old daughter, Alexa who was born mentally handicapped. We currently live in Columbus, GA and I am busy homeschooling the boys, remodeling the house and exploring our 8 acres of land. I enjoy cross stitch, reading, puzzles and surfing the internet.
